One could argue that the Book of Genesis is the most important book ever written, and even critics would agree it has had profound persuasion on the ideas that have shaped modern society. Without the foundational quality of this book, it would be like a building with no foundation trying to stay upright in the chaos of life’s storms and floods. Many people, including many Christians, would like to remove Genesis from the Bible altogether because it presents a set of problems that require honest belief and acceptance.
